Montgomery through book and literary art. \nThis event opens the Kindred Spirits Book Arts Exhibition\, a showcase of book artistry. The juried exhibition of 37 hand-crafted pieces by members of CBBAG pays homage to the life and literary contributions of Lucy Maud Montgomery. Barbara Clark Helander\, Kindred Spirits’ Coordinator\, will speak on the exhibition’s curation. \nIn collaboration with Bookmark\, author Carolyn Strom Collins\, will present her latest book The Blue Castle: The Original Manuscript. Available for the first time\, the novel is the original draft by L. M. Montgomery\, offering fascinating new insight into the writing process of one of Canada’s most beloved writers. \nA make and take bookbinding workshop will also be held.
